Bursting Disc Assemblies

A particular benefit of bursting disc assemblies is their self-sealing construction. No additional sealing ring is required in the installation.

This type is suitable for small diameters from 7 to 18 mm and low bursting pressure ranges from 10 to 600 bar (145 to 8702 psi).

Very thin bursting foils made of nickel, stainless steel and nickel-based alloys can be used. Normally the housings are entirely made of copper. Possible alternatives are stainless steel, brass or aluminium.
